2nd Character: Lugule DeLure, FIGHT! 2e
Second day of the year, second character! Or rather, second version of the first character! As mentioned previously, I'm starting the challenge by providing different version of the same character, Lugule DeLure, the Naari Pyrokineticist. Naari are the Pathfinder 2e Remaster of the Ifrit, the Pathfinder-brand version of the Fire Genasi. For those unfamiliar, Genasi are mortal in D&D that are descended or otherwise touched in some profound way by the Elemental Planes or the creature dwelling there. Most commonly, they are descended from Genie, but it doesn't have to be the case, as shown by Lugule. Back to the point, I decided to pull out my FIGHT! second edition handbook for this version of Lugule! I'm working with the assumption that we're doing some sort of Pathfinder fighting game, so I kept that in mind while assigning quality and such.
Made her a little older than the Pathfinder version, though she's a little more limited in moveset at this point. I mainly made her a little older for the qualities and liabilities, she is now married to the half-orc Hex and they have two children together. The other qualities were easy to pick, Power (Pyrokinesis) was very much needed and the various appearance related Qualities made sense for her startling looks. Occupation (Dungeon Crawler) is a better skill to represent a D&D style adventurer in this system rather than try and grab everything separately. After all, one of the example occupation in the book is Ninja!
Fairly straightforward character to start with, I decided to give her +1 Stamina to represent her high constitution and +1 control so it's easier for her to later on combine her move sets together. As always for a Fight! character, I gave her 3 quirks for fun RP opportunities and the extra qualities it gives. By taking only 3 Quality and taking a Liability on top, I got 3 extra point to put in my combat skills. That way, I managed to max out defense and give enough Evasion to get a bonus when combining both defenses. I don't have enough move to combo yet, so my other points went into Ki. I could have kept it at 1, but I built her with the idea that she would level up at some point, so she only need 1 point more in Ki to improve her damages. For the move, she just has her Elemental Blast for offense, the melee is slightly stronger to represent her adding her strength to it in Pathfinder. At Power Level one with Ki being maxed at 3, I could have saved some points and make it a regular Special Move for the same damage for less control, but I made it Ranged so it would use Ki for Damage and grow stronger later. Her other move is Burning Jet, it's a Feat that lets you move quickly and ignore Difficult Terrain in Pathfinder, here it's re-imagined as a move that lets her move farther by briefly gaining flight, she can use it as an interrupt to quickly get away from an opponent. Here's her sheet using the excellent gsheet version for clarity.
